About Maroto
Maroto (meaning “Rascal”) certainly lives up to his playful name! This lovely senior boy is remarkably energetic and vibrant for his age, showing just how resilient the canine spirit can be.
Since being freed from his chain, Maroto has embraced every moment of his newfound liberty with pure joy. He loves wandering around, exploring his surroundings with the enthusiasm of a much younger dog. A true foodie at heart, Maroto eagerly anticipates mealtimes and treats.
Despite his hip dysplasia, he remains quite active and his overall health and condition have improved dramatically in just a few months of proper care. Maroto gets along well with other dogs and is currently learning leash manners, though his excitement about life can make him a bit exuberant during walks.
His sweet nature and zest for life make him a delightful companion who appreciates every kindness shown to him.
Maroto‘s Story
Maroto was rescued from a life spent on a chain at an elderly lady’s property. When the opportunity came to give him a better life, she allowed him to be removed, opening the door to a whole new world for this deserving senior.
The transformation in Maroto since his rescue has been remarkable. Free from his chain and receiving proper nutrition and care, he’s blossomed into a happy, energetic dog who embraces each day with joy.
Now, this lovely old guy is looking for a special someone who will offer him a comfortable, loving home where he can experience the decent life he deserves in his golden years. Despite being a senior with hip dysplasia, Maroto has so much love and companionship to give in return.
