About Yuna
Yuna is an absolutely gorgeous German Wire-Haired Pointer, pure bred or very close to it. With her striking black and grey coat and athletic build, she’s the kind of dog that turns heads everywhere she goes.
Wire-haired pointers are known for being loyal and affectionate with their owners, but they’re also versatile hunting dogs with serious energy levels and drive. Yuna needs someone who understands the breed, can provide an active lifestyle with plenty of mental and physical stimulation, and has the right environment for a dog built to work and run.
She’s got a strong obsession with birds that will need work and patience to manage. This isn’t a casual quirk, it’s proper pointer instinct that requires experienced handling and desensitisation training. She’s still settling in and gaining weight after being found underweight, but she’s ready to thrive with the right match.
Yuna‘s Story
Yuna was found wandering alone with no microchip in late 2025. She spent time in the municipal shelter before CRAPAA offered her a spot in January 2026. No owner came forward for this beautiful girl, which remains a mystery given her quality and breeding. Now she’s waiting for someone who can give her the active, engaged life she was bred for.
