About Al

Al is a very sweet dog with all people. He likes attention and cuddles. He’s not always social with other dogs and will protect his bed and food so he will be best in a home as the only dog. 

He walks well on the leash and has been on several “out of shelter” experiences. He travels calmly in the car and has been walking around the town, to a café and he went to a dog obedience class. Al is a good dog and responds well to positive training, reward him with biscuits or cuddles and he will reward you with loyal friendship!

Al‘s Story

Al arrived in September 2021. He came with a female dog who he had got pregnant! She had 3 beautiful pups. Mother and pups are all adopted. The dogs came from a home where the owner was elderly and didn’t have the situation to care properly for the dogs. The shelter agreed to take them all and find better homes.
