About Coral

Coral is a chow mix with a strong personality—she’s quite headstrong and likes what she likes! This lovely girl needs someone experienced with dogs who can help her understand that what she wants isn’t always what she gets.

She’s affectionate and enjoys cuddles and attention from her favorite people. Coral can pull on lead initially but then settles into a nice rhythm once she gets going. She’s quite a dominant girl who likes to be in charge, currently sharing space with a submissive male at the shelter where they get along well and enjoy the occasional game of tug with a blanket.

Coral would prefer to be rehomed as a lone dog or with a calm, non-alpha male. And yes—she absolutely loves her food!

Coral‘s Story

Coral was found on the streets in July 2024 alongside another dog who has since been adopted. Despite her independent streak, she’s shown she can form bonds and live peacefully when the dynamics are right.
