Esmerelda‘s Story
Esmerelda was born in a municipal shelter and knew no other life until she was taken to CRAPAA a couple of years later. For much of her time, she was very dependent on her mother, staying close by her side for security and comfort.
CRAPAA made the difficult decision to separate them to help Esmerelda develop her own identity, many warned us she wouldn’t cope. Yet she has surprised everyone by adapting beautifully, showing a strength of character that was hidden beneath her shy exterior.
What Esmerelda needs now is a patient, understanding home with a calm environment where she can continue to build her confidence. With gentle guidance and consistent love, this special girl will come into her own and reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and affection.
