About Henri

Henri is a friendly older gentleman who loves the simple pleasures – a gentle walk, some tasty biscuits, a good shoulder massage, and then curling up in his bed for a snooze. This sweet boy knows what makes him happy and asks for nothing more.

He is social with other dogs and currently lives happily with Dillon at the shelter. He’s used to people and has clearly come from a family home – his calm, easygoing nature shows he’s spent his life being loved. He walks easy on the leash and is content with shorter, leisurely strolls.

Henri is in generally good health for his age, but has some needs adopters should know about. His teeth are heavy with tartar and may need attention. He has cataracts in both eyes with poor vision and often gets mucous discharge that needs daily cleaning. He also takes a daily joint supplement to keep him comfortable.

For someone looking for a gentle, low-key companion who just wants a peaceful home to enjoy his golden years, Henri is perfect.

Henri arrived in December 2024 – abandoned on the street, probably because of his age. He hadn’t been on the street long and was clearly from a family home.
