About Katie

Katie is a small, shy girl who is still learning that people can be nice! However, she gets along very well with all other dogs and is loving learning to walk on a lead.

She arrived with a skin condition that had to be treated three times per week, this as well as general volunteer care has helped her get more used to human contact. Katie was also pregnant when she arrived, the home she was in had three other unsterilized dogs, all of her puppies have now been adopted and Katie is still looking for her new family.

Katie’s preferred new home would have another dog and older or no children, it would be calm and have an outside space. She is a senior girl who is just looking for some quite and comfort in her old age. 

Katie‘s Story

Katie was surrendered by her owner when they realized they could no longer financially look after her, however, she was not well looked after before arriving at the rescue shelter and this has made her nervous about people. She has been at the shelter since May 2023.
