About Penny

Penny is a lovely sweet girl who’s a little nervous of new people and situations. She needs support to develop her confidence, but the volunteers have already seen an improvement in the short time she’s been there. With patience and gentle encouragement, this girl is coming out of her shell beautifully.

Penny walks nicely on leash around the shelter and is social with other dogs in the play park. She’s showing good potential for training and will make a very rewarding rescue for someone willing to invest time in helping her grow.

This gentle girl is looking for a patient family who understands that shy dogs often become the most devoted companions once they feel safe. With the right home, Penny will blossom into the confident, loving dog she’s meant to be.

Penny‘s Story

Penny arrived in June 2025 after being found abandoned on the street with another dog. Despite this difficult start, she’s already showing she’s ready to trust again with the right people.
