About Tornado
Tornado is a sweet, people-oriented dog who gets on brilliantly with all the other dogs at the shelter and can be cat tested if you’re seriously interested (we think he’ll be fine). He loves being around people, enjoys walks and gentle wanders, and is all about a good scruff and a cuddle.
He’d need some house training and a secure space when you’re out, as he’s got a playful streak when it comes to beds and toys. He likes a bit of rough and tumble with his things, so keeping him safely contained while you’re away will help him settle in smoothly.
Tornado has an enlarged heart that will need ongoing monitoring with a vet. It’s manageable, but it’s something his new family needs to be aware of and committed to keeping on top of.
Tornado‘s Story
Tornado was found wandering in November 2024 and brought to CRAPAA by a kind couple. He had no microchip and no owners came forward, so he’s named after the place where he was discovered. Despite being abandoned, he’s remained gentle and trusting with people, ready to finally have a home to call his own.
