About Olive
Olive is a very sweet young girl who is still learning that the world is a safe place. She is one of the shyer and less confident pups and will need a patient person who is willing to give her time to build trust at her own pace.
Once she feels comfortable with someone, her lovely personality really starts to come out. She enjoys cuddles and affection and becomes playful and engaged once she has established that she can trust you.
Olive also has a fun, curious side. She has a particularly high prey drive and was very interested in chasing mice, flies and even a dragonfly. This gives her a playful little terrier streak beneath her more cautious exterior.
She is good with other dogs and would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion around her.
Olive‘s Story
Olive was rescued in Bosnia with her brother Sage. The two are street born siblings and are now in the care of Marijana Paws.
Olive is currently one of the less confident pups. When she first meets someone, she can be nervous and may retreat when they move or stand up. Once she understands that a person is safe, she begins to show her true character. She will come for cuddles, seek affection and become playful.
Olive does not need someone to feel sorry for her or constantly reassure her when she is worried. What she needs is someone who can patiently help her discover her confidence, giving her encouragement while allowing her to work things out for herself.
