About Petal

Petal is a very sweet and gentle little girl who needs a little more time than her siblings to feel comfortable. She is the most nervous of the group and will need a patient person who understands that confidence takes time to build.

Once Petal trusts you, a completely different side of her comes out. She becomes bouncy, playful and affectionate and loves cuddles. She simply needs someone to give her the time and space to discover her confidence.

Petal is naturally submissive around other dogs. She is happy to let them do their thing and does not seem interested in competing for attention or status. This should make her well suited to joining a household with another balanced dog.

Petal‘s Story

Petal was rescued in Bosnia as one of three street born siblings, together with Artie and Rosie. Their mother was sadly found dead, and the three pups were brought into the care of Marijana Paws.

Of the pups, Petal is currently the smallest and the most nervous. Her first instinct can be to hang back and observe, but once she has time to understand that someone is safe, she begins to relax and show her sweeter, playful side.

Once trust has been established, Petal is very affectionate. She enjoys cuddles and becomes wonderfully bouncy and playful.
