About Rolo
Rolo is a happy, confident young dog with a wonderfully friendly and trusting personality. He loves people and is affectionate, cuddly and playful with everyone he meets.
Despite only recently being rescued, Rolo has been remarkably relaxed and comfortable in new environments. He is very easy to handle and calmly allowed the team to lift him when they first met him. He has plenty of energy and enjoys playing, without being chaotic or overly intense.
Rolo is also good with other dogs and was found living alongside a group of street dogs. He is a kind, loving boy who seems to take everything in his stride and is ready to learn what life in a loving home is all about.
Rolo‘s Story
Rolo was found living in a car park in Bosnia alongside a group of other street dogs. He had clearly been surviving on the streets for some time, and despite his difficult start he has remained incredibly trusting and friendly towards people. He is now in the care of Marijana Paws.
When Rolo was younger, he suffered a fracture to his rear left leg. The injury healed and calcified in an abnormal position, leaving the leg permanently damaged. The leg cannot be saved and is due to be amputated, and he will be sterilised and microchipped at the same time. His first vaccination follows once he has recovered from surgery.
Rolo is expected to have no ongoing medical issues after his recovery. He has already shown how adaptable he is, and Marijana Paws are confident his missing leg will not stop this happy, playful boy from enjoying life.
